Hot Air Balloon

Amanda thought this bead looked like the top of a hot air balloon, which was the perfect use for this little basket I had mysteriously acquired at some point and never found a use for. Very thin wire is looped around the top to attach the jump ring.

Owl Bead

Amanda and I went to two bead stores this weekend and had success at both. At the first one we visited, I found this little owl I just had to have. While cute, I don't think I will wear him as a pendant and instead will probably just hang him on the wall with my felt owl.

Amanda's Owl

My friend Amanda came to visit this weekend and we had lots of fun crafting together. She wanted to make an owl similar to mine. I used up all the paisley fabric so she had to choose another one, but I love the radial design and color scheme. She is a speedy stitcher!

Birthday Cards

In preparation for several spring birthdays, I got on a bit of a birthday card roll, combining paper from my wedding album and my favorite "Happy Birthday" paper. Since I can't find "Happy Birthday" stickers, the paper is a good substitute because it has several fonts.
