Me and My Machine

Unlike most craft bloggers, I am a crafter without a cat. I love all sorts of crafts, but quilting is my favorite. I started this blog because I'd always wanted to make a scrapbook of my quilts. This is even better because I can categorize my projects, which makes the cataloger in me very happy! I post mostly finished projects so I have a record of what I've done.

Until 2014, I sewed on a Singer 737 which I bought at a garage sale when I was in high school. I never wanted a new machine because it was in its own table, which was the best part about it. But it broke, and the part couldn't be replaced because it was a 50 year old machine. It lasted me nearly 20 years, but it was time to upgrade, and I decided to purchase a Bernina 330.
