Naturally the first quilt I finished this year was one that was on my list of secondary goals. This is the Rock Star quilt pattern, and it came together quite quickly. Most of the fabric was already in my stash, though the green was a fairly recent acquisition as a potential option for the cherry quilt.
I did have to buy more fabric to finish the back, and that held up progress as I couldn't find anything that really matched the gold prints, but I am happy with the paisley. I quilted it with a zigzag pattern that followed the lines of the stars.
I have had this red vine fabric in my stash for quite a while. It almost made it into the Hunter's Star quilt. I am very pleased to have found the perfect quilt for it!
