Sparkly Sequin Ornament
Over the summer I found a bunch of sequins on clearance at Hobby Lobby, along with these colored plastic sequin pins, which I did not know existed. I had been wanting to make Amanda an ornament like this for awhile, and here was the perfect opportunity. If I'd have had more of these pins, I would've made one for myself as well!

Cross Stitch Christmas Ornaments
2019 had barely even ended when I started these ornaments. I saw these little hoops at Hobby Lobby and decided I would make tiny cross-stitched postage-themed designs for Amanda, incorporating some tiny heart buttons I had on hand.

Butterfly Bags
I was inspired to make more of these purses. Fortunately I read my own post about the adjustments I made to the pattern since it's been a few years since my initial bag-making binge. The one with the light purple button has a purple lining and the one with the dark purple button has an orange lining. One is going to the little girl who got the second triangle quilt. The other is going to the little sister of the little boy who received the car bag.

Tiny Snap Pouch
I found the tutorial for this teeny tiny pouch earlier in the year and made a test pouch, thinking I would enlarge it, but I ended up not needing it for the intended purpose. Then I just found myself in need of a very tiny gift pouch, so I made a finished version, and I am very pleased with it!
I don't have the same snaps used in the tutorial, but regular ones worked just fine!
Finished size: 2" square

Fox and Feathers Quilt
I've had the fox fabric in this quilt since 2018, so it felt very good to finally find a design I was pleased with and get started. It was also nice that it came together so quickly once I had a design. I had hoped to highlight the foxes a bit more, but with only 2 yards, fussy cutting wasn't the best use of the yardage.

Bird Pin Cushion
I made a little bird pin cushion for my mom to go with this new bird sewing box I found for her at Joann's. The bird is weighted with a magnet. Now that I'm able to go home more frequently, I've been slowly upgrading my my mom and sister's sewing supplies so I am more likely to have what I need on hand when projects come up while I'm visiting. The box my mom uses for sewing supplies had a lid that doubled as a pin cushion, but the lid was no longer attached.

Rainbow Bird
I was looking for a bird-shaped pin cushion pattern when I found this tutorial. There were also instructions for turning it into an ornament, so of course that's what I did. This one is for a coworker's birthday, but I plan to make several more for Christmas!

More Baby Doll Bibs
The princess fabric is left from the princess bags I made for them last year. The blue unicorn is from a doll quilt I made in 2015 and the other is from the fabric I used on the back of the unicorn doll quilts I made last year.

2020 Goals
Goal 1: Fox fabric
In 2019, I purchased different coordinating fabrics than the ones referenced last year, but this still didn't help me settle on a design. Update: Completed! May 2020
Goal 2: Rainbow fabric
I have a bin of coordinating solids and prints all ready to go, just no design.
Goal 3: Cherries
I love cherry prints, so couldn't pass this up when it was on sale. I bough plenty of yardage, but while I have a few coordinating prints, I don't have enough of any of them. Update: Completed! November 2024
