Amanda and I were able to exchange ornaments in person this year. We moved again this year, and she visited the area twice this year for work.

A Trio of Sequin Balls
This is not the most original Christmas ornament design, since I made a sequin ornament for Amanda last year. However, the first ornament I made did not work out, and I didn't have much more time to be creative since we were moving again and I needed to get this year's ornaments in the mail before that happened. Perhaps I will try the other design again next year and see if I can figure out where I went wrong when I have more time. As for this year, she will probably be more excited about the box I'm wrapping these in!

Sparkly Sequin Ornament
Over the summer I found a bunch of sequins on clearance at Hobby Lobby, along with these colored plastic sequin pins, which I did not know existed. I had been wanting to make Amanda an ornament like this for awhile, and here was the perfect opportunity. If I'd have had more of these pins, I would've made one for myself as well!

Sequined Halloween Treat Bags
Halloween treat bags for the twins, made specifically to fit the miniature pinatas I found in the party section of Target. I bought the pinatas in May, because pinatas are a super fun candy delivery method! Fortunately I also made the bags in May as well, since another interstate move upset the craft schedule all summer. I found these sequined iron-on letter patches on clearance at Hobby Lobby. I love having initials on hand to personalize projects like this!
Finished size: 8"W x 6"H x 4"D plus handles

Christmas Fish
Amanda and Chris have fish, so I decided to make a Christmas fish ornament. As soon as I finished it, I wondered why I had only made the face white. I should have added white elsewhere.
Dimensions: 5" x 4"

Felt Snowflake Ornament
It's the start of the Christmas ornament season! This year we're starting off with the last ornament I made for the Ornament Exchange. I love it so much, I was tempted to make one for myself! It is 4" in diameter from tip to tip.

Sequin Trees
These little trees are about 3" tall. They are decorated with sequins and seed beads and stuffed with a little quilt batting. The edges are finished with a slightly off-kilter blanket stitch. I realized it was wrong after the first one, but I decided it looked better that way.
