After giving a quilt to my cousin for his daughter's first birthday, I knew I would need to make quilts for this baby's future siblings and cousins, and by this time, my other cousin was expecting a baby boy, so I bought some fabric...and then we moved. Baby cousin #2 is now almost 18 months old, and I've finally finished his quilt!
Part of the delay, besides the move, was the arrow fabric. I love it, but it is very directional, which made it a challenge to find a pattern that worked well with the fabrics I had. It was such a relief to finally settle on the kaleidoscope of stars pattern that I decided to make two, since by this point the baby who received the first quilt was expecting a brother. His quilt will be more timely, as he just arrived this summer.

I was pleased to be able to back the quilt with leftover pieces from the front and some additional pieces from my stash. The border is the same fabric as my thread count quilt. I am also very pleased with the quilting.
Finished size: 60" x 72"
